The goal of mobility work is to further the ranges of our joints while also building strength, size and control in the tissues and the nervous system that surround/feed that joint.I must quickly state: MOBILITY IS NOT FLEXIBILITY!

Flexibility has a lot to do with furthering the ranges of our joints.
Yet, without strength and control in our current/expanded ranges; uncontrolled tissues in a range of motion is simply a recipe for injury (for example; someone who is "double jointed" or is hypermobile [real bendy]).When I say strength, I mean tensile strength in the tissues which is also being paired with proper neural control of those motor units to perform our movements better, deeper, faster, stronger, safer.If our joints and tissues move better, we move better.
Simple as that.
